What's the Difference Between the Acura ILX and Acura TLX?
The ILX and TLX are both stylish, high-tech, and sporty sedans from Acura. There are a few significiant differences though that set them apart.
The most noteable difference between the ILX and TLX is their size. The ILX is classified as a compact sedan while the TLX is a mid-sized sedan. The ILX is 9 inches shorter in length and 2 inches shorter in width. Due to its smaller size, the ILX has better fuel economy** and a lower MSRP*. The TLX, on the other hand, offers available Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™, and comes with more standard features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration and an Acura Premium Audio System. The TLX also offers an additional half-inch in rear legroom and almost 2 more cubic feet in cargo space.
If you are looking for a premium compact sedan with advanced standard tech like Adaptive Cruise Control, Keyless Access, and the Acura Collision Mitigation Braking System™, we suggest checking out the Acura ILX. If you want more interior space, all-wheel drive, or even more luxury features like 3-level heated and ventilated front seats, the Acura TLX is for you.
